Faith is the greatest power in the universe. You only have to believe.
Widower and former Green Beret David Arris works as a black ops commando, taking on missions so dangerous that no government can sanction them. This time, he's tasked with shadowing a drug cartel's "naval maneuvers" in the Caribbean, but when his helicopter is shot down he discovers that there is an even darker, more hidden side of life to contend with.
On an island in the middle of the Bermuda Triangle, Arris washes ashore to find a man who lives in a remote mountain castle with a young female apprentice. Over the course of a couple of days, Arris' understanding of what is - and isn't - reality is tested.

The Divine World edition by William Young Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
Forgive my play on words in the headline...it was too hard to resist.
Science explains a lot of our every day lives...but still falls short in some areas. Will blends the explainable with that which is not in this, his second published novel. I'm not much of a reviewer so let me just says...it's a good read. Will's rhythm helps the story flow from plot point to plot point. The action shift from scene to scene and character to character felt nature. From the very beginning I was interested in trying to discover (along with the main character) exactly WHAT was going on behind the observable actions. Will is a very good story weaver.
And like any good book, I am left with several unanswered questions at the end of the story. Thanks for the story, Will.
I received the book on time and was an interesting read, I liked the book, however liked The Shack better.
I have read other books by William Young and hoped this would be just as good. However, it was more sci-fi than I like.
This book was kind of short. It's almost like a preview. The author has the story, which is good enough, then reposts the story as a screenplay. Now I don't mind screenplays, but I didn't expect to find a retelling of the story I just read, but from the POV of a TV show. If I had known that, I would have thought twice about my purchase. I guess for the price it was good enough, it just didn't really fill out like I thought It should. Kind of leaves you hanging, and turning the page to see what comes next.
Not a bad story, but be prepared to end up thinking that it should have been twice as long.
